Figment Media is a creative brand that was originally founded as a figment gallery in Abuja, Nigeria.
As the founder and lead content creator, I have a background in art, design and media, and I have always been passionate about creating visually stunning and impactful content. As I began to explore photography and content creation, I realized that the brand needed to evolve to be more scalable and inclusive of all the different practices I was interested in.
That’s why figment Media was born. The name figment is a nod to the spark of an idea that arrives in the mind fully formed, representing the creative process and the endless possibilities that come with it. The word “figment” refers to something that is imagined or made up, and it encapsulates the spirit of creativity and innovation that is at the heart of our brand.
