Observer Photographer

My most notable assignment was when I was given the rare privilege to work as Observer/Photographer for the UN Women & Angie Brooks int. To Freetown, Sierra Leone to cover the 2nd democratic elections in the country's history.
Although my main job on assignment was to generally document the events around the elections from a photo journalistic perspective, I couldn't help taking the opportunities when they arose to make formal portraits of those involved in the process.

The Eminent Men & Women of the United Nations...

visual Artist Humanitarian & speaker

As a professional Photographer, Artist & Content Creator my inspiration & focus is usually in this arena. I also have a BA in Art, Design & Media & a Post Graduate CERT. in Arts Management.

After graduating in 2001 I have been involved with all things art both within and outside the UK.  Working as an artist in both here inLondon as well as West Africa.

As well as creating and running the original figment gallery in Abuja, Nigeria.

Following the assignment I was invited to speak at TED x Abuja, Nigeria where I talked about a personal project called Amputee Football Club. I was passionate about the their plight and shot the project on the side during my assignment. I am a firm believer that creativity can change the world.

Finally, my UN work & photos where featured as a double pager ( with photos as well as write up about my role) in a book by the former Foreign Minister to Liberia,
