Abandoned and neglected, the only function this area served was that of a car park, bin collection point for the refuse from the highstreet shops… and finally as a thuroughfare to the nature reserve, the riverside sports complex… and other parts of town. It was unimaginable that it would one day become the fashionable hub it is today…
